Anand Shah

Co-Founder and CEO

Anand Shah is CEO and Co-founder of Databook. Anand brings to Databook more than 15 years of experience as an expert in consulting Fortune 500 CXOs on how companies drive top-line growth for the enterprise. Before founding Databook, Anand was an Engagement Partner at Accenture Strategy, leading their engagement with the World Economic Forum on Digital Transformation, and a global lead for Accenture’s Strategic Insights group.

Anand holds a dual-MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Reading, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Imperial College London.

Jim Christen

Chief Operating Officer

Jim Christen is Chief Operating Officer and has global responsibility for driving Databook GTM Strategy, Sales, Operations, Client Success, and Consulting.

Jim brings to Databook expertise spanning more than 25 years in Enterprise Technology Sales. He is passionate about working with sales professionals to manage a unique demand creation cadence that delivers high-quality pipeline by engaging executives. Most recently, Jim served as Sales Acceleration Leader for Oracle ERP Cloud. Prior to that, he managed Oracle’s Service Cloud East Region and CRM Sales in North America. Jim’s career also included several years as the CRM Sales Leader at SAP North America and the Global Sales Acceleration leader at Sprinklr.

Jim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Menlo College.

Alex Barrett

Co-Founder, Product

Alex Barrett is a Co-founder of Databook. Alex makes Databook’s customer-centric insights relevant and actionable for our users.

Previously, Alex worked as a freelance content strategist for clients including Accenture and the World Economic Forum. He also brings a decade of experience as a journalist, researching and producing television documentaries for the BBC.

Alex graduated in Modern Languages from Cambridge University.

Rebecca White

Vice President of Marketing

Rebecca White is Vice President of Marketing for Databook. She brings to the company 20+ years’ experience and deep expertise building brand and demand engines for SaaS and open source/open core companies that sell to large enterprises.

Prior to Databook Rebecca spent 20+ years in Silicon Valley running marketing teams and functions at companies including Oracle, TIBCO, Talend and NGINX. In 2010 Rebecca founded a marketing strategy consultancy for technology startups, and in 2015 she founded an online landscaping services marketplace startup. She is passionate about building business strategies and demand generation operations to deliver fast, sustainable growth.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the University of San Francisco.

Carlos Conde

Vice President of Engineering

Carlos Conde is Vice President of Engineering and is in charge of building and scaling Databook’s insights platform and applications.

Carlos brings his expertise from the Telecommunications Industry, where he worked as technical lead and software engineer at Ericsson SV, playing a key role in the development of one of the first virtual routers (EVR) and participating in multiple deployments for the world's largest telco operators, like AT&T, Orange and Vodafone.

Carlos holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco and a Master's from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain.

Sean Geary

Chief of Staff

Sean Geary is Databook’s Chief of Staff, contributing to strategy, business development, operations, and platform configuration; he leverages his 10-plus years of experience with startups to help Databook run smoothly. Over the past decade, Sean has advised, founded, and invested in startups in five different countries.

Sean has a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from Georgetown University, a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Florida, and an MBA from the University of Cambridge.

Udit Shah

Senior Director of Product

Udit Shah is Senior Director of Product for Databook.

Prior to joining Databook, Udit was head of Product Management for EdCast Inc., a leader in the Learning Experience Platform space. Udit has also held product leadership positions at Jive, Domo and Evolv (acquired by CornerStone); he was an early member of Domo's product management team. Previously, Udit worked as a software engineer at eBay before attending business school and transitioning to product management.

Udit holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the L.D. College of Engineering, a MS degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a MBA from the HAAS School of Business at Berkeley.

Drew O'Brien

Director of Sales

Drew O’Brian heads up Databook’s sales team focused on the Western US and the Technology sector.

Drew has more than 15 years of experience in technology, with a strong background in Analytics & AI, SaaS, Cloud Infrastructure and Enterprise Storage. As an operator, he has held a number of roles across GTM functions, ranging from Product Marketing to Field Operations & Enablement. Prior to joining Databook, Drew spent 7 years at Cloudera where he helped to define a new market category centered around machine learning and data science, and grow the company from a venture-backed startup to a publicly traded organization.

Drew holds his Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management & Information Systems from Northern Illinois University.

Phil Sukys

Director of Customer Success

Phil is Databook’ Director of Customer Success, spearheading a value and data-driven approach to customer engagement that ensures each of Databook’s customers recognize their goals.

Phil brings a decade of experience to the Director role, having worked previously in the marketing space collaborating closely with Fortune 500 brands, and as a strategy & operations consultant for Deloitte focused on financial analysis and change management.

Phil has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
